Professional Women in Business Owner Profiles Richard Wimer Executive chef Richard Wimer is the driving force behind the quality, scratch made foods offered on the Pantry event menus. A member of the ICA culinary council, Richard strives to remain current with trends in food preparations and presentation with an emphasis on organic and sustainable formats that showcase locally grown items, as well as nationally available products. Starting as a restauranteur, Richard successfully managed and owned the historic Village Inn Restaurant for 9 years before joining his wife Jody in ownership of Jody’s Pantry Catering. Jody Wimer Founder Jody Wimer is the creative force behind the company’s success- creating unique display concepts, menu trends, and event decor that sets Jody’s Pantry Catering apart from the competition with a dedication to fine service and superior attention to detail. Founding Jody’s Pantry in 1998 as a bakery concept to complement her husband’s restaurant, Jody quickly gained a reputation for high- quality products and unique custom designed wedding cakes which led to her success as a respected purveyor to many quality area venues. Catering services were then added to the bakery product line with an emphasis on scratch-made foods from fine ingredients. Today Jody focuses on product development and gaining constant education in the event field to stay on the cutting edge of the industry.
